Interactive Tattoos
An interactive project created in conjunction with another artist, Bailey Rogers.
The viewer can make simple hand gestures to activate the subject. Each gesture focuses the view on a tattoo on the body, revealing and animating the drawing.
The actions of the viewer are meant to elicit the uncomfortable feeling of voyeurism and control. This project was inspired by stories from women with tattoos, and how their ink pulls inappropriate behavior and attention from others.
Responsible for all 3D work and some tattoo designs.
Modeled in Zbrush and Maya. Rendered in Mental Ray. Interactive components built with Arduino.
